Another little quartz point.

The weather cleared up enough this afternoon that I had 20 minutes to go digging before it got too dark for my eyes. Found another little quartz point right next to where I found a bunch of others last week. Seems that I really am in a great spot for quartz.

I'm currently hunting 2 spots. Both in walking distance from my house. One is producing all these little quartz points and the other, which I have only been out to twice so far, just chips, a few scrapers and lots of shells but no quartz at all. I have a feeling when I find something good in that one it's going to be really good. It's cold today but I might bundle up and head out hunting for a bit.

ive found its only cold outside until you start diggin and get into the zone. If i had spots to dig within walking distance of here id be out there at night even. I've found four points on my property here but digging doesn't pay off...i believe the points were from hunting off from the main site which is a cornfield half mile down my road. heres the last find in my yard when i was digging a post hole...

Nice point quartz point! It's tough to hunt this time of year with limited daylight but we can all cheer up, the days are starting to get longer.
