Calabash, I watch and enjoy all of your videos. I am a novice detectorist and have never swung an excalibur, but I have watched lots of people's videos using them and yours doesn't quite seem to perform like theirs do. Have you seen videos of other people using them? I dont know, your much more experienced than I am and your usually spot on but something seems a little off on yours to me. Seems like in the two videos you've done with it that you dont seem too thrilled with it which is a shame considering how expensive they are. That's the only reason I've never gotten one because I cant afford one. Anyway, good luck with it.

No it is a solid machine. Just not that thrilled about it in iron.
