All Treasure Hunting
I have seen embroidery floss before, but never thought about buying it. the other day I found 2 bags, probably about 250 skiens in each bag. Bough the bags for $2.00 a piece. Sold 2 lots of 100 for $20.00 each, anohter lot of 100 for $22.10, and have another lots of 70 on now that is at $18.00 and another smaller lot that is at $8.70. Easy to list and pack, and make money!

Nice! I'd like to add another BOLO (be on the lookout) to this thread. Not that I've ever found this particular book, but I'm always looking for it:

Two sales on eBay in the last week - $653 and $690! I can see this book being easily overlooked at thrifts/estate sales, because it looks like any old run-of-the-mill finance book.

Here's a great article from Bloomberg about the hype behind the book:

Lets keep the BOLOs comin'!

Edit - Here is a view of the book's spine so you know what to look for when scanning those bookshelves:

A BOLO that another picker got me onto:

It has to be the 240 Model. Sold three in the past year. $100 in sealed box and 2 used at $70 each. Who would've thunk.

I second embroidery thread, and will add embroidery kits. I've done well on Elsa Williams and Dimensions Gold Collection. Just sold a Dimensions Gold Collection Snowman Stocking kit, that I paid $7 for, in unopened condition for $60. It sold within 5 minutes BIN. Probably could have done better at auction but I have a lot of stuff to list and needed to get some things moving.
