Another Old Homesite Hunt

I went out today with (packratfromok), to a Homesite that I knew about, I had hunted there before but thought we
would give it some more 'looking over'.
We found an assortment of Relic's, stove legs, horse shoe half, bridle bits, broken stove parts, etc............
It was his BIRTHDAY, so after the hunt we went home for Hamburgers & cake.

I knew the family who lived here, (13 in all), they had a hugh 'plank' table, & when the biscuits went by, you had better get one, because they didn't come around again.
They had a 'dinner bell' outside, when it rang all the men & boys came in from the fields, they raised nearly all their food, & milked cows, & sold cream, they were pretty 'self sufficient', Ah, the 'Good old days'.
