Another Park Hunt - 5/8/11

[Pocket Spill]

Met up with Etrac007 and Rottonr at the park I have been hunting recently. Finds include 2 IHs - 1899 and 1903, 3 Mercs - 1916, 1918 and 1944, a 1912 Barber Quarter, an old enamled pin (appears to be German writing - have not gone to the google translator yet) and 11 wheaties.

I didn't clean up the Barber Quarter so you can see the rust from the nail that was next to it. There was also a 1916 wheatie in the hole to the side. The numbers were jumping on it on the etrac but the repeatable tone indicated it was worth digging.

Super finds . To bad there isn't a D on the back of that Merc. Love that Barber, you don't find many in that shape any more. Congradulations and hope you find many more. Rick
