Another piece of history saved

Still trying. I found out something today. Too many layers aren't a good thing. I could hardly bend my elbow!!!

Still, even with less than two weeks to go, I still managed to get another successful walk done.









And....befitting one of my walks, OTWBTTC.
I got this incredibly clear quarter type signal. Solid 86 on the AT. Was fully expecting one. But, most of the signals today were very shallow. This one was showing at over 8 inches!

I slowed my dig, just in case ....



And......viola! The substance of my addiction.
I bid it a welcome to the 21st century.

It's the kind of surprise that keeps us all coming back and hunting in even the harshest of conditions!

Good job I kinda like detecting in this weather when the ground isn't too frozen no one around ect !!!! I stay very warm. Still tying to find some gloves that aren't too big and water proof. Thanks for sharing Happy Holidays my friend!!!!!Tommy

Well, since I have all winter to clean. I'm doing it very slowly and carefully. Near as I can tell thus far is 1839.
