I got this pocket watch yesterday in a thrift store bag of jewlwery. It was not running. But after some canned air and contact cleaner. It is running great and keep time perfectly

Marked standard usa and it is a 7 jewel watch

I know the standard watch company was from New York City and is business from 1885-1925

I have looked through 200 pages of watches and can not find a match for this one anywhere. I did read an article stating that some of their watches are very rare. And worth a few dollars. Any help would be appreciated.

It doesn't show it in the picture but I have the front bezel with glass. I removed it because I was getting reflection for the pic

Nice find and best of all it works, but being a silverode case and only 7 jewels, I can't see collectors ever spending for allot of money for a watch like it.

New york standard watch company made in New Jersey..Try there!

There was a New york standard and a Standard watch company, and New york watch company.(might have names off a little, I don't have the info in front of me)

The one you have isn't the rare company or model.

Cool find! I'll try to find a link to info....

Try matching your movement up under crown watch company. The name will be different but some models were identical, if I remember right. lol
Still trying to find something online that will give you movement pics.................

It looks like a size 16 model 94. It's worth about $90 very good condition. The cases were not made by the watch company but there should be dates in the back when it was cleaned or repaired. Tony

Could have never been serviced. Or they were polished out at some point or it may have even been recased. The marks are really really fine and small sometimes. I'm not sure if many guys mark them anymore. So you never know.
