And by marathon, I mean my type of marathon lol. (23 minutes of digging pleasure) The button/cartwheel hole had a facelift once again. The owner moved a bit of dirt around and I just had to take advantage of it. The area he plowed is very small, about 15'×15'. It's amazing just how many coins and buttons were in the ground both in the cellar hole and around the lip. Today I pulled a flat button, pair of scissors, what I belive to be an iron barrel band, 1799 George III Penny in decent shape, a Dutch 1771 Skilling (my second one from 2 different sites) and a roached George II half penny. He is going on vacation this week, but when he gets back, he is moving the entire pile of earth and spreading it. I should hopefully have something to post after that hunt! Thanks for looking and HH
