And by marathon, I mean my type of marathon lol. (23 minutes of digging pleasure) The button/cartwheel hole had a facelift once again. The owner moved a bit of dirt around and I just had to take advantage of it. The area he plowed is very small, about 15'ร15'. It's amazing just how many coins and buttons were in the ground both in the cellar hole and around the lip. Today I pulled a flat button, pair of scissors, what I belive to be an iron barrel band, 1799 George III Penny in decent shape, a Dutch 1771 Skilling (my second one from 2 different sites) and a roached George II half penny. He is going on vacation this week, but when he gets back, he is moving the entire pile of earth and spreading it. I should hopefully have something to post after that hunt! Thanks for looking and HH
