Another Question

I ordered -- via ebay -- and paid with paypal, an item from a firm in Miami, FL, and in another post told about being sent the wrong thing. Well, that finally got straightened out and on the 13th the supposedly proper item was posted at USPS and I was sent the tracking number. USPS says it was sent 3 day Priority Mail. The post office got the item in Miami on the 13th, and it left there -- zip 33131 -- at 5:43 PM same day. Then: Jan. 15, 2015 arrived at USPS Origin Facility, Miami 33112, departed there on the 16th, and at 7:17PM it arrived at OPA LOCKA, FL 33054, then it says "item is currently in transit to destination. If it is truly 3 day delivery I would think an item going to Oregon would have been placed on an airplane on the 15th. Instead it looks to me like it is going to be delivered to once again to the wrong person, someone in Opa Locka. If that happens, I'm going to open a case and demand my money back. Only thing is, I don't know how to do that, so any help would be appreciated.

reading last line - "no warning shot" L sounds good to me. Well there is a place on E-bay and Paypal for a specific item that you purchase that allows you to open a dispute with problem sellers. You have to ve logged on to Paypal or E-bay to register your dispute. I once purchased software from a joker using a box at the airport who sent me nothing at all. I did get my money back from credit card company. Some slick operators out there.

If the tracking shows it being sent priority, then it isn't the seller's fault. The sender has no control of the USPS's screw ups. If you don't receive the item, open a case, but don't be too hasty in blaming the seller.

Opa Locka is this regions sort facility. Every package I send goes through there. Don't panic yet. Also, I noticed that sometimes eBay's tracking number "shipment details" aren't always as up to date as the USPS website- https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input Most of the time it's the same info., but not always.

Tracking shows that via 3 day priority mail it's only taken 5 days for the package to get to Portland, OR so I should be getting it no later than tomorrow. I think you have to pay extra for 3 day delivery, and I bet the USPS doesn't refund the money either. I wouldn't be upset except the item was ordered the first of the month, and it would have got here via pony express in less time. Been a cluster ****** from day one.

You don't pay extra for 3-day delivery. All of my packages say either 2 or 3 day delivery when I ship priority.

Tracking says it will be delivered tomorrow, 20 days after I ordered and paid for it. Part of the problem is the seller, for making a stupid mistake, and part is the USPS. Anyhow, if I get it tomorrow I'll get over my mad, but it will be a long time before I order another item through the U S mail.
