Another Restoration

Found this axe metal detecting. Very abused on blunt edge and ears ripping. Decided to cut a little bit off all the way around. Made the handle out of black walnut 24” long. Used gun blue on axe head and the boiled linseed oil on both axe a handle. Going to be just hanging on wall so not worried about integrity of the 🪵. The curve of the edge isn’t exactly right but like I said it’s going on the wall. No before picture, sorry I seem to always forget that.
