this site sits about 50ft above the river like it was built there to overlook it. I managed to find another button with a "fleur de li" backmark and also says "w.&r.s. plated". Also found a small brass rivet with a square shank and another real small brass piece that may be a percussion cap?? not sure. thanks guys! and hh!!

that's what i'm thinking and hoping for GAREB! I've been jumping around the iron signals so far and just digging mid tones and hi tones. There's a ass load of square nails in there.
