Another Silver Dime Found Right In My Backyard!!!

Well, I was having a lovely dinner on the patio with the family this evening. As dusk fell and we began to clear off the table I looked at an old spruce near the property line. Dusk was falling and my wife went inside to answer the phone. I grabbed my detector and went over to the tree where I had found silver coins and a 19th century sleigh bell a few years back. It was so dark I had to use the Treasure Talk feature of my CXIII. I got the signal I was hoping for. "nine" a pleasant voice said. I knew it was most likely a dime. I pinpointed. "Depth 3 plus inches" she continued in her robotic voice. Nice depth, too. I dug and used my vibraprobe until I found what I was looking for. I stuck it in my pocket, too dark to know what I had found, ran into the house and looked down to see this nice 1946 Rosie.

I know I gave advice to PATreasureHunter the other day. Keep looking on your own property. It is never quite hunted out.

I hid a cigar box with about 75 silver and turquoise rings about 30 years ago, on my parents yard somewhere after giving one to my first wife. I was drunk at the time, and have never found where I hid them. It is still a big joke with the family, and to this day I still hunt for those rings.
