Another treasure from my Bahama trip - why it pays to dig it all

or hunt in all metal
Got a hit in all metal - clicked to ID mode and got a mid tone - knew it was most likely a pull tab (had gotten a bunch before this one )
scooped and saw pulltab - as rest of sand filtered thru - saw colorful disc appear in bottom of my scoop
knew it was a chip - just dropped it in my pouch and continued hunting
When I got out for a break - told my gal I found a casino chip - I figured it was just gonna be a dollar one
my surprise - $25 one - whoohoo! bonus find
Pays to pick it all up sometimes
(had to wait for my girlfriend to email pic from phone - took pic before we turned it in for cash)

Well thanks!! I was wondering which island you were hunting on. Looks like you had a great trip, and I'm sure the temperature must have been a relief from what we have had this winter!!

that was the only good thing pulled from that beach - others had gotten there before me - but they did not pic up all the trash - lot of can tops and bottoms left behind there
