He had the look of an old time baseball player, however that was the prevalent look of the period. The reflection of the light appears to be distorting the lower view. Is there a design on his shirt/jersey?

Hi I here is a little better image ..from your information I looked for baseball players ..very close features.. unfortunately only in the drawings not in the old photos .Thank You for your information
