From my experience digging up 1000s of barb wire i can only tell you this looks to be mid 20th century..

Looks pretty modern to me... I'm not a barbed wire expert but up here in Pa. we have a ton of this stuff all over and it looks like the everyday variety to me... Just my thoughts...

There's lots of it in a woods that used to be farm land. There is also really cool old farm machinery with I will make a new thread about

Modern for sure. I've ripped many pants crotch on it while out hunting game. I even have a few rolls of the same form, but it's galvanized.

I have some rolls of that barbed wire in my shed. My grove on my farm has barb wire fence running the perimeter.
