Never miss it!

I always record them via DVR, and then pretty much just watch the
battles and skip over all the other BS. Kenny Florian is worth listening
to, but the rest of the folks are a bit odd for me.

Favorite bot? Not really...but any bot that bashes the crap out of
another is good in my book. :occasion14:

True, maximum removal of parts and pieces is the prime objective!

I watch it from time to time BUT ,Whats with the "costumes" on the opposing team operators ???:tongue3:

That's the parts I prefer to skip over...:laughing7:

From what I've picked up watching the show, it appears that a
vast majority of the robot builders/operators are highly intelligent
gooney birds. They want to get the younger generations (kids)
involved, so maybe that's the reasons for the costumes and
funky props.

There's most definitely some odd ducks that participate, no
doubt about it.

For the kids that get into it (robot building) it's a huge boost
to their education. Building a fighting robot requires every aspect
of "STEM" (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), and they get
to see the results of their efforts first hand.

Besides, what's cooler than watching 250 lb. battlebots bashing
each other to pieces.. americanasmiley.gif

Team sprit!

I'm a fan as well. I like the technology aspects of the bots.
I was even more impressed when I found out how much they weighed.
