Ive been lurking for a few weeks now,,,,,,,the only big thing for me is a 1942 six pence silver coin. Any way a couple moths ago I found this in my pocket change. Anyone know what might have happened to it?

Seems to be a reverse error. Some are worth a lot of money. Might be worth the $25 bucks to have it slabbed. Ask in the coin section.

The edges of the odd side look rather convex.. I don't really see how that could happen by mistake? :icon_scratch:
Maybe someone did it on purpose? :dontknow:

Looks like a couple of coins I found lodged in a conveyor belt several years ago. The nickle looked almost exactly like your quarter does. The dime and penny were small enough to tumble while the nickel sat there to get polished away.

Could be a worry stone type of thing, people would rub for good luck.
