can you post an image of the other side too?I guess I am wondering if it is some kind of game token?
Symbols on it look maybe Russian or from an area nearby in the East?

I believe you're in Mexico. is that correct?

If so, I think this may be a hacienda token. They're usually pretty crude, uniface, and often have weird monograms for the issuer. This kind of thing:

I couldn't find a match for yours but it could take some tracking down in a specialist publication, given how many different types exist.
