Any idea what kind and how old key is?

[Garabaldi]

Any guesses to what this key may have gone to and how old it is?

Hey G, Your key is similar to one I have that fits the lock on an antique buffet. These types of keys fit key-hole locks in desk, secretaries, buffets, servers, etc. Here's 2 pics of mine. Neat find as usual Breezie
