Any Idea what this came from?

Dug this up in a old parkway . Was down about 5 inches deep .. Have no Idea what it is.. Any help would be appreciated Shane.

Looks like the top from an old clothes line prop. You can even see the hole cutout for where the clothes line pops into it

Had no idea they made them out of metal?? I remember the old wood clothes like prop....My mom used in the 40's & 50"s

It's hard to say since we don't know the size but if it's small I'll say it the pin that go's in the brake shoe and brake cylinder.

Now if it's laying on a piece of 8.5 x 11 copy paper than it might be for the brake cylinder of one of those giant iron ore trucks.
