i was helping a friend of my Mothers clean out her barn and there was an old box full of points that her Farther had found here in Massachusetts. About 20 points, a handful of crude knives and a bunch of chips and flakes. All stuff that I find around here. This is the one thing that I have never seen before. Any idea what it is?

It's hard to tell from the photos if it's a broken portion of something that was ground, or if it's natural. Whoever picked it up probably thought it was ground quite a bit, and I might too if I held it in hand. Guess I strike out...
 
Looks heavily used whatever it is. The one pic makes the edge look very nicely polished.
 
IDK either but lets see the points and knifes.

It's definitely ground. Holding it in my hand there is no question. The pics don't really do it justice. I just have no idea what it is.
 
Here's a few of the better pieces from the box. I'm going to keep them in their own box/frame and not mingle them with all the ones I have been finding recently.
