Found the large cylinder on a baseball field of a school. Any idea what it is? Also found the assortment of junk in the other photo.

Not sure. What are you thoughts if threaded or not threaded? Didn't want to disturb it too much until I found out what it was.

Here are a few more pictures. It is black on one side and army green on the other. It appears to have mud in it.

Only thing that tells me it maybe not a widow weight are the holes and the paint job.... Maybe a hydraulic from a large tractor or plow ?? IDK, these are just guesses !!

Could be a time capsule kids buried years ago if it unscrews, funny thing though it really does resemble a pipe bomb that's been camo painted!!!!!! #just guesses

Hydraulic ram. That would explain the threaded port on the side. Here is a pic of a similar sized one.
