I have no clue either. But, could that be a pipe bomb? :icon_scratch:

Looks like a base anchor. I found one last month.

I was going to say a baseball base anchor as well.

Further research may prove the field to previously be a scrapyard!! Lol. Just joshin ya.

I looked up photos of base anchors and it doesn't look like one that I could find. Any other suggestions?

Is it threaded on the end?

It kinda looks like part of a basement support stand.

Same thing I was thinking. Thats why I wondered if it was threaded...

Cotton scales weight?

I wonder if the top would screw off. If so maybe a water filter inside. Kinda looks like what my parents had at the old house. Wh

I'd also say a window weight.
Keep @ it and HH !!

Here are a few more pictures. It is black on one side and army green on the other. It appears to have mud in it.

Only thing that tells me it maybe not a widow weight are the holes and the paint job.... Maybe a hydraulic from a large tractor or plow ?? IDK, these are just guesses !!
Someone should know !!
Keep @ it and HH !!

Could be a time capsule kids buried years ago if it unscrews, funny thing though it really does resemble a pipe bomb that's been camo painted!!!!!! #just guesses

Hydraulic ram...now that i see the new pics. No doubt in my mind. Unscrew the collar and the whole thing should come apart ...

Hydraulic ram. That would explain the threaded port on the side. Here is a pic of a similar sized one.
