Any idea what type of rock this is?

It's very light. Almost the weight of coal. Really black. Looks like a turd dropping lol the way it rolls over its self. Any ideas??

The trick is to pick it up by the clean end...

Lastly, don't be chewing yur finger nails...

It's not a Thunder Egg (a geode or lava bomb)...they are heavy, although some have solid crystal centers...

It could very well be lava rock. Obsidian is felsic lava but to become obsidian it has to cool quickly with no moisture and very little crystal growth. Let us know when you find out for sure what it is.
