Any idea who the maker is

Gidday, I've tried to manipulate your pic to try and see the marks better, but without success.


The 14K mark is obvious, but other than that, you need to help out a bit.

What's your explanation of what you can see/read and if possible, a better (macro) pic?
Also, it looks like some other mark on the ring, just to the left in your pic?

Almost looks like a flying dragon with a curved tail. Are there proof marks indicating foreign manufacture also? Hope you can solve the mystery. Sub

I see a lot of times on TN where folks take close up shots of just makers marks or impossible to read signatures. IMO if you take a picture of the whole item, just the style and look of a piece of art or designer jewelry can raise a clue and go with out saying who made or created it. For example this jewelry made by Georg (no e) Jensen of Denmark. They used more then one mark. Some just look like GI and the I is supposed to be a J. Still I don't need to know by the mark who made it, I can tell by just the look, style and design is the signature to many Jensen pieces no matter what mark was used on it. Other marks of Jensen spell the whole name Georg Jensen and that's a no brain'r Jensen made it. I can't say for sure a picture of the complete item will lead me to the mark of that maker, but it could possibly help. If just a mark is all I can go by I could be looking through thousands of marks to match that one. Best case scenario will be someone will come along here who has already researched and noted the artist of that mark, but that lowers your odds of finding out and solving who that mark belongs to imo. One other thing about a complete picture is seeing the style of the era it was made and maybe help narrow down when this maker was working?. That way I could look at what looks like a piece of jewelry made in the later 19th century and not in the mid to later 20th century. If it had diamonds on it we could see the the cut and style of setting and hopefully pin things down by when that technique was most commonly being done. All I can say from what I see it's a 14K ring maybe a wedding set fused together that 14K mark leads me to believe it was made here in the U.S.,Canada or ??, by that info, but by who, when and where for sure.
