So, I've been digging in the same area for quite a while. I've found everything from coins, jewelry, buttons, bottle's etc. I tried dowsing rods for the first time today & they led me to this giant saw blade. Is it worth dragging home!!?? The property owners said anything I find is all mine, the gentleman's wife said she has enough crap to dust. 😂

Happy digging & I hope everyone is off for Labor Day. 🤗🤗

Artisans buy wheels, saw blades, like those for projects.
Then again it might right pretty painted up sitting out on display.

I’d definitely snag it. I’m sure it could be repurposed int something.

I swear I’ve seen that saw before. Face the saw blade in photo #1; walk sideways to your right 30 long paces. Straight ahead is a decline in elevation. If you go far enough it leads down to a creek/calf pond.
Behind you is the road. Sorry if I’m wrong.

Find a sawyer who still cuts wood into planks show them the picture and see if they are interested if not there are a lot of Artists who would paint a scene on it. Or find someone with a log cabin that wants it as wall art. There are a lot of ways to sell it for $$$. Even the wheels and the frame it is on could be yard art for someone.

Ok I just read this. The end of my message is gone. It sounds creepy!
My point was, it looks exactly like one on my uncle’s property in Iowa. When I saw the photo I had deja vu. The saw he had was near their calf pond. Sorry for any confusion.

If there's a way of getting it out, I'd grab it for sure. Great yard art!

I would make a wall clock or compass out of it using other old things

It's okay, I figured it was somewhere in your area. I'm in Upstate NY in the Adirondack Mountains. I am going to take everyone's advice & get it out of there. 😊😊

Sounds good & all, but shipping would cost wayyyyy more than that. I'm going to hop on my tractor & try to pull it out of there within the next few days. 🤞🤞
I was saying what I'd do with it ,not that I wanted you to ship it. I see these things on craigslist and marketplace for sale often. I can buy a blade like that at the Amish Auction for $25 and sell to city folk for $125 to put out at their mailbox

Oh, I understand now. Lol 😅
