Found this piece in a creek in Northeast Missouri. Any ideas as to material type?

I am not sure what the material is, but I like it.

Is it black or is that just the picture?

If it's black, it sort of reminds me of Pitkin chert from the ozarks, or maybe Fayetteville chert.

If it's blue or gray, then it could be something from the hornstone/cobden cluster.

It is a nice glossy black. I thought about sending it to a knapper to see what kind of point they can come up with from it.
