found on a farm that dates back to the mid 1800's, not sure what it is, anyone have an age idea or know what it is exactly?
almost looks like an old buckle.

any info would be appreciated.

Not sure but it could be Michigan State Spartans memorabilia.

Looks like it was riveted to something or had mounting studs at one time. Pretty thick for ornamentation, so, I'm thinking it's more an industrial use.
