🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Any ideas what this is, it's copper with a small hole in the middle. Its 1 and 1/2 inches wide and long. Found In a field connected to the RIC police

the offset hole seems like it was marker tag nailed to a pole or tree maybe.. dosent seem to be a medal or badge of sorts..kinda big for those....IMO

I find them all the time, generally they have 4 prongs on the back to attach them to the leather but I do find these types which are less oblivious how they attached. Sizes vary, but that shape stays the same.
