Every once in awhile I find something that I don't know what to make of.This is a definite what the hell.I have found what I call a pestle in a fire pit.Looks like an unfinished version.

Well I knew that one was coming.Sometimes you just gotta go out on a limb.Easy with the saws.Thanks rd the only thing I can add to that is its not concrete.

Have you found definate artifacts made of the same material at that site or others?

Yes I have gatorboy.It was a different type of granite but still granite.I don't believe they made that many different tools with granite least not that I've found.

I've held onto pieces that made no sence to me at the time other than where it was found and what it was made from...sometimes for years then one day find that piece that complets the puzzle and be very happy I kept it.
