Any ideas?

I found this at the former site of an 1800's quarry town. Any ideas? It's fairly heavy and looks like a gun barrel or gas valve.

No offense intended, but the air hose nozzles you posted sure look a lot like gas pump nozzles. LOL

Lol, yep they do--but they are vintage ones
