That will depend on what it grades. If it's been in circulation, it's only worth a dollar IMO.

based on the net... copied>
Most 1979 Susan B. Anthony dollars you find with any wear at all are worth only face value — just one dollar. Even those that look nearly perfect to the unaided eye (no coin magnifying glass needed) are still worth between only $1 to $2. In other words, most 1979 Susan B. Anthony dollars are safe to spend.

High grade uncirculated ones, and some of the wide rim varieties will have a premium. Still, it's based on condition.

Your SBA dollar has average circulation. Lots of minor marks and scratches. What I typically do is put together complete sets of year and mint mark and sell locally for 2x face, plus cost of folder if one is wanted. A complete set, including types, a bit more.

Simply not a lot of demand.

Time for more coffee.

One of the main reasons for lack of interest in SBA's is that they're F'ugly.

My opinion, also. Additionally, I have yet to see one worth the price of professional grading.

Time for more coffee.

Thank you all for your answers and opinions :hello:
