I went hunting today for about an hour and only found 1-dime & a few pennies, and, my trusty scoop decided to come apart. I mainly hunt the beaches, wet sand, and shallow water; any recommendations for a new scoop? ???

My first instinct is to search Kellyco.....

I just got the Stealth scoop today and I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Your going to love it. Moves a ton of sand, indestructible too...

Do I just use a wooden shovel handle?

i just got my new 8 inch t-rex sand scoop last week.. built real good and works great.. got a 46 inch ash handle from home depot for 9 bucks.. i also bought a fiberglass for 12 bucks..

im sure lowes or any other hardware store will have a handle..

I have the 720i scoop as well and really like it. You do get used to the weight toting it around the beach but it can move some material! That point slices right through (with some pressure and twisting) the rocky areas! Haven't been out too far in the water with it yet but once the water warms up some I plan on being out there alot! Really like this scoop!

Goldringseaker, I have seen these on ebay and they look just like a Stavro, but they are cheaper to buy. I had to pay via Western Union for my Stavro, how did you have to pay to Latvia?? I might buy an Indiana too.
Gunsil, all I had to do was go through paypal, it was very easy and hassle free, but all in all a great scoop

Loving my homeade one cost me under 10$ 4inch PVC they sell a 3 ft section at Home Depot. Glue in the end PVC drain cap drill lots of holes and cut a old hockey stick inserted it into the top on an angle then screwed in a screw and washer to hold it through a bottom hole works like a charm.

I'm not sure how long that pvc scoop would last on our beaches in NJ. U should try to make one out of stainless or aluminum. It would be much stronger and last a lot longer. Buy hey, if that scoop works for u on the beaches u hunt, stick with it.
