As you guys know, I mainly mess with jewelry. This house I’m at is loaded with antiques. This is some of the stuff at the house. I don’t know much about any of this. JimDon is helping me out with the paintings which I decided to pass on most of but what about any of these other pieces?

I really like the floor mirror. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd pictures...I look as dust collectors, also the lamp in the last picture. The oval mirrored vanity tray is nice too. I have a good bit of treasured antiques/vintage items in my home...mostly old farm tools, butter churns, butter molds, hurricane lanterns to name a few.

The one pictured is some type of resin material or like a plastic almost. I thought it was brass but it’s not.

Check the lighters in the glass case especially the ones on the cart and check the cart too. Could be silver. I think I see some interesting ones there and might be Silver or gold too. Ditto on what JimDon said. The oil lamp lighter looks sterling. I like the mirror in the 5th photo, though I wouldn't sell it unless locally.. The little jewelry casket shaped like a baby carriage in the 4th photo is interesting too, probably dates to the 1930's and worth at least $50 on a bad day. The Indian smoking stand, I would have already bought, even though I don't smoke anymore. That's a $500 item on a bad day, more if the paint is still bright.

Most of the lighters were ronson? Didn’t check for gold though... i will when I go back.

When checking those lighters... be aware Ronson made gold ones... including some well liked 9 karat ones.

I guess I’ll have to look and see online where they’re marked out because I didn’t notice any gold hallmarks when I did check but I just looked really quick.

it all looks like old money to me ( who lives like that?) ((silent movie star?))

She was well off. Whole family said that. 90% was picked over by family. I bought a 60 gram 14k necklace from a family member tonight. Crazy! There was some stuff she didn’t want to sell, I bet it was worth... alot! Everyone in the family keeps saying when she did not travel, she would go to yard sales. I think I would’ve liked hanging out and talking with her! I feel honored to be part of this even though I’m just doing what I’m asked.

The ashtray is my favorite as well! Good look!

that ashtray is easily a 500.00 ashtray

So my return trip I did not buy too much. Friend of mine bought the ashtray which is fine, he has more ways of moving that stuff. There was one section in the garage that I never really looked at until today and it did not disappoint.

There was some scrap silver jewelry. Two lighters and a huge bowl. 315 grams. Too bad its mono and dented.

And a box of purses. They were going to donate them to Goodwill so I bought them all instead. there were a bunch that were rhinestone or beaded that I thought I could get maybe five dollars apiece at my booth. Yeah. And then wow! Prada. Chloe brand new with tags... then this funky reindeer one. I don’t know a lot about these things but sold listings are crazy!
