I've dug a few rings but not too many like this one. It is silver and I just want an approximate age of this ring. It appears to have a seam along the center if that helps. Thanks!

Can't help you on the age of the ring other than appear to have good age. Are the gems rubies or garnets? I really like that ring, great find :icon_thumright:

I don't think either Kenn. They kinda look like "Carnelian" stones..

History of Carnelian :
Romans believed Carnelian was a stone of courage that could shore up strength and confidence. Ancient Egyptians placed carnelian on mummies to assist them in their journey to the afterlife. It was also one of the stones inlaid in the mask of King Tutankhamen. Carnelian was once worn in cameos because it was believed to ward off depression and insanity. Napoleon I, Napoleon III, and Mohammed wore Carnelian. In the 1800's, people believed that Carnelian would help those who needed courage to speak. In the 1700's, people believed Carnelian would bring protection, comfort, and luck.

Spiritual and Physical Beliefs About Carnelian :

Some believe that Carnelian in the home will protect against fire and misfortune. Some spiritualists say that Carnelian can assist people in finding the right mate and protect the wearer from anger, jealousy, and fear. Some claim that Carnelian will help to balance creativity and mental processing, and on this note, it is also supposed to aid daydreamers and the absent-minded. Physically, some believe Carnelian can ade everything from open wounds, sores, spasms, fever, infections, nose bleeds, arthritis, and even infertility. Some claim that if Carnelian is worn around a woman's neck, it will help to relieve cramps

Are the stones brownish? Could be smokey or honey quartz.
