Tigger,
Yes very lightweight for the size of stone it came from, Not magnetic, Some portions of the stone appear to have a Glassy Exterior? Found around the Tonto Basin Area in AZ. I dont recall a volcanic formation?

Checked with my AZ raised hubby - yep, volcanoes in that area. The little especially glassy bits are probably obsidian, the whole thing is kinda like pumice, not sure the right terminology, but it's volcanic - stuff that was thrown out, not oozed out. You could google volcanic rocks and compare to get the right terminology, unless someone more technical chimes in.

Have you found any Apache tears in AZ? They are globules of obsidian in a perlite matrix, lots of places in AZ to find them. They're very cool, can be tumbled (carefully).

Lots of neat rockhounding in AZ!!! Have fun!!!
