Intersted in hunting relics with my xlt;but havent before;only coin hunting. I would like to know what the relics like belt buckles;minnie balls and bullets etc show up as ?What kind of vdi numbers;how does it sound??broken;crisp etc. All info on relic hunting with the xlt would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey Steve, I can't give you any info, but could you tell me
about what an xlt is worth with headphones?
My son's father-in-law inherited one in good shape, used very
little.

Bullets at 58-61, buckles upper 70s or higher. Steve you gotta dig any good signal when relic hunting. Check out my avatar. Nearly all found with the XLT.

What Mike said -- Most Civil War relics are good positive #s usually above 40 --- used XLTs are still in the $500+ range - I have one and $500 wouldn't buy it !
