any one know the TID for the XP2 for a CW belt buckle?

I can find out...I think high 80's.
I know the the 3 ringers go f rom 79-82 because have some of them and have tested them. But have never found a CW belt buckle. Of course those nowadays are really rare in Atlanta. People found them back in the 70's and 80's. But there still must be some hidden.

I lead filled plate is a solid 85 at 1 foot.

There are so many varieties of belt buckles and plates that were used it is impossible to pin down a specific range. A lead filled oval would be different from a cast brass tongue or a thin stamped brass plate. Soil conditions and depth would affect them as well. Best to just dig every signal above 60 or so if looking for relics and coins (at least thats what I do, YMMV)

I am thinking VaGent is also more correct for me. Makes it had since my Civil War hunting areas are in urban/suburban parks with lots of trash like buried soda cans and potted meat cans from park workers. But we all have to deal with the conditions of our hunting areas.
