The year of her coronation; I remember it well.
Nearly 68M minted: Bronze 3.24g; 19.10 diameter. Two varieties; one 'with strap' and the other 'without strap'. Can't tell from the pics which one you have. In VF-20 the difference in retail pricing is between 10 cents and $1.50, respectively.

Thx don. But why is it plated in silver? The weight is correct. I find Canadian cents like this all the time but copper / bronze color
 

Many reasons could, no doubt, be conceived: High school science project; testing the silver dipping process; and preparing the coin for a gift are a few.

Thx don. Prob was a pin because of the glue.
 

The glue and the plating can lessen the value, though. Collectors want the original coin without anything like glue on it.
