Anybody in the Woodbridge Area want to get together to MD or form a club?

I am not new to metal detecting...30yrs experience, and have a new X-Terra 70. I have been poking around some middle schools on the weekends lately with a lot of luck in finding clad. Cold weather is coming and this will all end soon until next year.The laws are pretty crazy and state, local, and city can be hard to figure out. Maybe we could get together and figure out whats legal and whats not legal for hunting next year?

I live in Dale City. I too just hunt around the middle schools from time to time. I don't really have any leads or places to hunt myself. Would be interested in getting together also with you and DCMatt about MD'ing.

I have tried to get in touch with Arlington about hunting. Never heard anything from them (yea or ney). I used to be on the Board for the Arlington County Fair. I do have a few contacts I plan to check with.

I'm going to the Pipsico hunt this weekend and I'm in a training class for work all next week. I'm should have an evening free during the Dec. 10 - 14 week. Pick a time and a place somewhere between Reston and Woodbridge and I'll be there.

I like the idea of a meeting at Bob Evans. I can't commit 100% now but lets touch base on Friday and confirm. I think that I will be able to meet. It would be great if a few of us could meet.
