The one that says ONE PENNY is British, the one with the Chinese characters looks to be Hong Kong, the 2 with a 5 on them are French, the one with the maple leaf is Canadian while the one with the eagle is German. Since they are all in dug condition they most likely won't be worth too much.
1928 Canada 5 cents- $0.65 in F, $2.75 in VF
1938 UK 1 penny- $0.20 in F, $0.50 in VF
1912 France 5 centimes- $0.25 in F, $0.75 in VF
1916 France 5 centimes- $0.25 in F
1909 Kiau Chau 10 cents- $30 in F, $50 in F
As far as cleaning, the Canadian I would leave alone, the coppers I would take a small toothpick on (they are worth little anyway). For the Kiau Chau, are you selling it or planning to keep it for your life? For selling it, I would leave it. Otherwise, I would put it in vinegar, and it would remove the red and expose the copper-nickel under. However, the red might be hiding extreme pitting under that reduces the value to zero, like my Indian 4 annas. My philosophy is that the coin will only get worse without treatment. Since the vinegar is not 100% safe, I would only do it if the coin was not planning to be sold.
