anybody know where i can find back to battery packs for fisher1266x

Have a fisher 1266x.I am not sure if it still works right, or at all?I need the two battery packs as well,but I have seen them on ebay.I just cant seem to locate the screw on back.Just wondering if anyone has seen them anywhere,or might have one they want to sell.Thanks! joe

Did you contact Fisher the metal detector manufacture?
Somebody on here may know where to get them. GL

Fisher will not repair them if the battery holder button thingy is broken, I just went down that road with them on my 1265x a few months back..so I fixed it myself..if you find a battery cover lemme know...been desperate for that.

No, I havn't actualy.From what I understand they dont carry Old stock.But I never tried eather.Guess that should be the first thing to try! thanks!

I hope all it needs is a back,I am not a good repair man!.You would think they would have old stock in such.From all i heard they dont

From what fisher told me they do not have the battery cover part, and told me if I send it in the tech will send it back if that part is broken since they do not have any supposedly..which is crap because anybody that ever owned one with that design knows how fast and easy that breaks, of course that could be why they do not have any.
