Anybody Running Overvoltage On The Seahunter

I was looking at some threads on PI detectors and people are adding batteries to increase voltage.
From what I gather, PI circuits are not voltage regulated like VLF.
The more voltage, a stronger signal being transmitted by coil with a PI.
Anybody tried 4 lithium 18650 batteries ?
