Thank you, Sir! I appreciate that! Mine isn't nearly as pretty as that one, but maybe 50 bucks would be a good guesstimate.


That would probably be a generous evaluation and as they say you would have to find the right buyer to pay that. Even though they book pretty good there's no more demand for these than any other coin of equal value and rarity so the bottom grade ones get very little. Because of the condition there's no way to know the date or variety.... and I assume the edge is too rotted to see anything? (The date is on the edge of the coin)

Yup .. The rim is pretty well fubared .. However, since I am going to keep the coin, as it is by far my earliest coin , I doubt the insurance company will quibble about $50.00 for a relatively rare coin, even in that condition.
