I only had an hour to look around in this new dump I found. I used to know a bit more about bottles, but, alas, I seem to have forgotten much.

I remember something about finding applied tops were "better" than screw caps. These aren't screw caps, seemed fairly old and/or cute. (I liked the tiny little blue bottle. Even though it is a screw cap type.)

I do have a small question. Should I take the porcelain inserts out of the lids or is it better to leave them there?

What do you think? Did I do well on my first dig in a VERY long time?

:)

Cool bottles!!

I think you did great. After all they don't make them like that anymore. Keep at it.

Whadifind,
nice bottle finds. Feels good to get back? :icon_thumright:

On the porcelain inserts, if you have a good insert in a good lid I would leave it in,
some folks like to keep them neat. You can find a bunch of the porcelain but not
many good covers.

have a good un.........
