Anyone ever dissect a Sunray Probe ?

The Wire in my Probe went bad.

SunRay advised me IF It needs Replaced
it is a $100.00 Bill just for the Probe
as the wire can't be fully Replaced.

However If I were to cut the Probe where
I Have the Red Dots, Rewire & Use
a Sleeve &
J B Weld to Put it back together,
Can it be done ?

Be Purchased at Home depot ?

Cut the Bad Part out & Am Splicing part of
a Computer screen Wire on

Apparently it can be done.

& Almost is.

Need to let the Glue Dry
& Clean up the excess.
