I know, not much of a find, but, it's a first for me. I've found dozens, if not hundreds of utensils over the years, but, a titanium spork? You just never know....

Yeah, I guess they're popular with the hiking crowd because they're nice and light.

Nice find! I have a titanium spork. It's come in quite handy on several occasions when I was out and about and didn't have anything else to eat with. Mine is staying in my bag though!

Wow That is amazing
Good job and congratulations on your success

That's a first for the forum I believe.
Something different, good recovery.

Titanium utensils are generally considered very safe for cooking and food preparation due to their non-reactive and non-toxic nature. They are biocompatible, meaning they don't react with food and won't leach harmful substances or chemicals into your food. Titanium is also highly durable, lightweight, and resistant to corrosion.
Here's why titanium utensils are a safe choice:
Non-reactive:
Titanium is a very stable metal that doesn't react with food, even acidic foods, and doesn't impart any taste.
Non-toxic:
Titanium is considered non-toxic and does not leach harmful substances into food during cooking.
Biocompatible:
Titanium is safe for use in the human body, so it's also safe for food preparation and cooking.
Durable and resistant:
Titanium is strong, durable, and resistant to rust and corrosion.
Hypoallergenic:
Titanium is hypoallergenic, making it a good choice for people with metal allergies.
Easy to clean:
Titanium is non-porous and easy to clean, preventing the buildup of bacteria and odors.

We've been using Titanium coated cookware for nearly 20 yrs now.

Very unusual find. Mine is just high-impact plastic (Ka-bar). Was in my lunch kit for work for several years. Titanium would be a much better choice.

Ha, my wife bought me that same spork because I always carry a can of smoked trout or smoked salmon in my pouch for a hunting snack and she didn't like me taking forks out of our dining set! :laughing7:
