Anyone found 1943s wheat penny from TD magnet?

Where exactly is this magnet located? Everytime they open the machine to change the bags I see coins scattered all over the place that were supposed to make the reject tray, but never seen the magnet. Do I ask them to check it? :dontknow:

The 6 that I own are all from the TD magnet, and all are P.

I remember someone explained the magnet thing very nicely. I can't remember who. There are two places. One is inside the feeding tray with holes on the top; the other is inside the machine. Gosh I hope someone post the link.

Considering I found a 64 washington & a 45 nickel in the reject trays this week, I'm looking forward to getting to my dump bank after they have had a busy morning. (just so I can grub the stuff that the other customers left before me)

I've found a couple dozen between TD Bank and People's Bank coin machine magnets. I found one in a customer wrapped roll the other day as well.

Did you check to see if any is S-mint?

Yes, i pulled a handful of steel cents off TD magnet once and i know some were S mints. I don't remember how many though.

I guess I should keep my hope up. I am in need of a nice 43-s for my folder.

you'll find one some day, juist keep at it. I have been checking the magnet since may of 2011. Have gotten 9-10 steelies from the magnet since. All P, 1 D. No S. Maybe today will be the day, though the magnet has been empty the last 3 visits I have made.

I've must have found over 50 1943 steel pennies from the TD Bank magnets. They are mostly Ps but have also found some Ds & Ss. They are out there & I'm sure you will get your 1943s yet.

a follow-up on my post... went to TD bank last night and dumped some nickels and pennies, cheaned off the magnet, it was loaded, 19 coins total. 15 of them foreign, not worth mentioning. the other 4 were steel pennies from 1943.

The 4 steelies from 1943 were all from philly. One in horrible shape, one in average shape, one in better shape, and one AU(not replated, just AU)...best steelie score in a LONG time.
