Anyone gonna brave the cold this weekend?

I am itching to get out here in S. Mich. Might try as long as the turf crust can be cut. Havent been able to get out last couple weeks, 'sposed to be warm (40) Sunday. To bad for me I have to work, Ha!
Need to get one more piece of silva before I hang it up.

This old body having a hard time with the cold
this year, so far; just not accustomed yet.

Been out the last two days for a few hours each.

Weather around here been in the 30's, few flurries,
not much snow at all.

Heading down in the teens the next few nights.
Woods at night are special this time of year.

Cold, few snowflakes, the stillness. Cold but makes
you feel alive.

we have a small mini hunt with 3 or 4 us prob sat morning in orion, you wanna come out? were going to meet at great lakes crossing maybe at 8 am and i have what i hoper are a few killer sites lined up

so far myself, saginawian, planet1mars and possibly bandb1 will coming out we will breaking the pre1900 barrier shortly after 8

I would love to be out swinging the machine,but I am leaving for northern Wisconsin Saturday morning to spend the week with my girlfriend. I will take along the indiankiller in hopes of a freak warm spell there that will alllow me to do some diggin. I guess if its too cold I'll just stuff my face with all those holiday goodies and snuggle up to that pretty lady

Still considering going out, but.....
Still hunting deer, even though I got one on opening day.
We have about 7 or 8 inches of that crappy white stuff on the ground, and they are predicting from 15 inches to 2 feet for tonight and tomorrow.
I refuse to put the Minelab away yet. This would be a freak year indeed if the first snow stayed all winter.

Today I am working on snow removal. Northern Michigan is a great place to live, but the older I get the less fun the white crap is.
