Yes... Clonloum123 posted it in August, and again in October, but didn't get much in the way of suggestions about what it might be. Nothing much I can offer either.

Copper or brass? An equilateral triangle is a useful tool in drafting, surveying and masonry construction. The corners make me think it could be part of a light fixture or lantern as well. Interesting find!

I'm not sure if it's my slow internet as I can't enlarge the photos.
I'm see a triangle, but you got me on the measurements 17" x 3"
Then again I probably failed that course in school

very much so, but op said made of copper (brass?)...too soft for Rohm tower guy bracket! And too big ?

the pics won't enlarge but it appears cast so I doubt it's copper. brass or plated is my guess
